300 N Commons St W, Tuscumbia
Mon - Sun, 8:30 a.m - 4 p.m
Ivy Green is the birthplace of famed author Helen Keller. The Tuscumbia, Alabama cottage was the former residence of not only Keller, but her "Miracle Worker" mentor Anne Sullivan as well. Now set up as a museum commemorating Keller, the site displays her original Braille typewriter alongside other relics from her international journeys.
