The Kasugai Gardens in Kelowna, British Columbia is an outdoor park built in 1987 as a display of friendship with its sister city Kasugai, Japan. The park features traditional features found in Japanese gardens including stone lanterns, pine trees, waterfalls, and a koi pond. Found along Canada's Okanagan Lake in the Okanagan Valley, the city's name means "grizzly bear" in the Okanagan language.
